Professional Experience

I have been working as a glass artist full time for five years, following a City and Guilds course. I have completed commissions for a Health Trust, local school and a home for people with learning disabilities, working with Health and Safety and fire considerations. I have completed numerous front doors, fanlights, internal windows and doors for people's homes. I have many years successful experience of working with people, and enjoy the challenge of working to commission. I have experience of running workshops and courses for different client groups, including children and people with disabilities. Most of my work comes from word of mouth and personal referral.

Service Description

I design and make stained glass windows, fused glass wall art and garden 'sculpitectures' - outdoor glass features - to commission, for individuals, businesses and public organisations. This work involves direct involvement with the client, listening to their requirements, making suggestions, designing and making an enduring feature which complements the space, and brings pleasure. I exhibit locally , internationally and through galleries. I work for six months of the year based in Bedford - June to November - and fly south, to New Zealand for their summer, where I continue to work in glass, exploring the very different environment and cultures.
